100 New Views of Japan" was a series of woodblock prints distributed by the Japan Print Association and published monthly in a limited edition of 150 copies starting in the fall of 1938. However, due to the wartime regime, the series was discontinued in 1941 after 39 views, far short of the 100 mark. The exhibition will feature prints and the scenery of Nagano depicted by Asaji Kobayashi, a print artist from Suzaka.
