Discrete City

TOTO Gallery Ma
Finished

Artists

Hiroshi Hara
The concept of "being discrete" or "discretion" as suggested by the architect Hiroshi Hara, who has designed Umeda Sky Building (1993), JR Kyoto Station Building (1997), Sapporo Dome (2001) and so forth, is based on his continuous research on "villages" that he has been doing on his own since the 70's.
Showcased are his current "Discrete City" project in Cordoba, Argentina and his previous one in Montevideo, Uruguay, in which he puts forward his ideas about discretion. People are encouraged to interact with the exhibits.
