This exhibition will introduce Akio Tomari's 4th photo book untitled "Interior". Having started his career as a stylist for interior design, he soon realized that to achieve the results he was seeking, his true place was behind the camera lens. He has now been a photographer for 14 years. His focus is to find "things" -which have special qualities of texture, color, shape, touch -that provide comfort and healing to our life or state of mind. His works are stoic, simple and display a very contemporary Japanese touch. This is what he calls "interior".
