Hudson-Powell's first exhibition in Tokyo, displaying posters, t-shirts and their program Responsive Type. Responsive Type has been created as a new way of dealing with screen based type and was developed with a team of developers around the globe. Although still at an early stage, the program was created for the development of new responsive typefaces. It allows the user to create new fonts, and using a plugin based system further develop how and what the type responds to. The project is interested in typographic form as being dynamic rather than static, and with the expandable nature of the program it is hoped that many different forms, growth types, etc will be explored.
