Kazutoyo Yamanouchi and His Wife

This is a special exhibition in accordance to the NHK drama "Koumyogatuji", to introduce the Sengoku Era through the lives of Kazutoyo Yamanouchi, his wife, and other prominent women of the era.
The Yamanouchi family ruled Tosa for sixteen generations, and over 66,000 treasures have been turned over to the Kochi Prefecture. 250 works have been chosen to display the elegant and cultivated culture of the Daimyo in early modern times.
