Due to the combination of bullying at school and the death of her father, Hiromi Suzuki stops going to school and locks herself away in a darkened room where she connects with the world only through the Internet. She becomes friends with someone online and accepts an invitation to meet on Ishigaki Island. However, her other reason for going is that she may be able to find her mother who left when she was a child.
