Shingo Francis "Blue's Silence"

Galerie Paris
Finished

Artists

Shingo Francis
Blue fire is the purest form of fire. It is the highest possible temperature, and the most efficient condition in which to burn things. This is the color and concept that poet, dream recorder, and artist Shingo Francis has been addressing these past few years.
He paints layer upon layer of various blue paints that are almost transparent, and then polishes them by hand, making them thin enough to reflect light through the canvas. That light is brought to life, creating an experience of light and shadows for the viewer.
