This exhibition follows on from the "Melancholic Utopia -dazzling urban images/ e-scape into the real world-" exhibition. Under the influence of Dadaist artist Schwitters' work "Merzbow", images and words taken from advertising displays/ newspapers/ magazines/ TV/ internet are projected onto cubes of different scales remiscent of ruins and rubble. Images and sounds of the city are collaged as if having lost their purpose, creating the illusion of an urban space surrounded by garbage.
