Kishin Shinoyama Exhibition

Seiko House Hall
Finished

Artists

Kishin Shinoyama
Photography is about instants, without any rehearsal or practice. It starts in the studio, on the stage; Kanda-san starts dancing to the music; Shinoyama, camera in hand, starts dancing to her movements, as if a duet. He identifies with and "becomes" one with Kanda. The monochrome pictures of these swift movements transcend Kanda-san's physical being and seem to capture life, thoughts and even a dance of the gods.
Thirty years after their first encounter, both have reached a peak in the world of photography and dance. An unmissable opportunity to discover those 2 great talents.
