Le Corbusier
Although Le Corbusier is mostly known as a first-class architect, he left behind many paintings and sculptures as well. This event is a great chance to see his numerous illustrations and sketches. Le Corbusier carried around a little notebook with him everywhere, and jotted down ideas and memos everyday. Some have been published as "Le Corbusier Sketchbooks" and "Voyage d'orient carnets", but a great deal has been lost throughout the years. One of the sketchbooks that will be displayed at this exhibition is one that was considered to be lost. It will be displayed in Japan for the very first time. Original sketches from "Le Corbusier Secret" will also be displayed.
The exhibition is split into two parts, with different items.
Part One - 4/10-5/19
Part Two - 5/28-6/30
