THe Japan Pinhole Photographic Society celebrates their first anniversary this year. With the establishment of the Hokkaido Branch in Sapporo and the Kansai Branch in Osaka. Membership of JPPS now totals over 300 people. Some of their activities include co-sponsoring the "Photo Imaging Expo 2006", holding workshops and photography events, participating in the "World Pinhole Photography Day" and "Tokyo Photography Month", and much more.
This is an exhibition of photographs by their members to spread the joy of pinhole cameras that cameras with lenses just cannot imitate. There will be a camera-making session and workshop on August 26th. A symposium is planned for the last day.
