Yokohama Graduate School of Architecture presents lectures on "Yokohama Architectural Urban Studies" with special guests to talk about "a city worth living in", open to the public with the assistance of Yokohama City. For this session, architect Hiroshi Naito has been invited to hold a lecture on "architecture" and "construction".
Urban Lecture First Term Theme: "Future of Urban Cities"
There are numerous problems surrounding cities such as decreasing populations, and the decline of inner commercial areas. Yokohama might at first look like an energetic city, but it also has serious problems. Looking for the ideal state and the key to a bright future for urban environments, this lecture series discusses the future of cities from various viewpoints.
