Artists

Hideaki Sato
The photographs on display in this exhibition were taken during the artist's stay in New York in the late 1960s. At that time the World Trade Center was under construction and the artist found himself going by the construction site during his days of photographing the city. Works on display include rare photographs of the WTC construction site and the building in various stages of completion, streets scenes, and portraits of people's lives and give the viewer a glimpse into what made America special at that time.
