Akira Yoshida
"What kind of art could be made in order to be understood by all Japanese people?" Yoshida asks himself and creates pop yet ironic sculptures dealing with current issues that relate to anyone.

This exhibition presents works incorporating the traditional craft sculpture of "dog paper sculpture", to explore the political relationship between Japan and the United States. While the sculptures are visually pleasing, the pieces talk about the serious issues of today. A total of 6 pieces are on display.
