The Time Tunnel Series is a series that focuses on top creators' early days as artists. This 25th exhibition features work by art director Kaoru Kasai. This artist was born and raised in Hokkaido and studied communications and character formation. He moved to Tokyo in 1968 to pursue a career in design, and has produced numerous memorable advertisements as well as freehand graphic works. Among his many advertisement projects, the Suntory Oolong Tea (1982-) and United Arrows (1997-) campaigns are particularly unique and enduring in the industry. During the past decade he has broadened the scope of his work to include theater, film, graphics for Japanese cooking knives, space and CI design. This exhibition traces this artist's work from the time of his debut till present in both this venue and Guardian Garden.
