Norio Suzuki

This artist exhibits mainly in outdoor exhibitions incorporating concepts unique to the outdoors. His vessel-shaped stone sculptures take in the natural light and water to create works that integrate the surrounding environment and the work as one piece. This white granite compound comprises various forms and is hollow through the middle and filled with dirt. The artist has focused on the contrasting relationship of movement between the still stone vessel and the plants that grow out of it.
