"Promiscuous" is an exhibition of color photographs by two Australian photographers, Paul Night and Christian Hagblom. There will also be a sound installation work by contemporary artist and fellow Australian Philip Samartzis.

Paul Night captures the height of emotion in human beings in his photographs - which could be thought of as time capsules - and presents 'figures' that are stripped of any extreme presentations seen in pornography and advertising. These forbidden photos hovering between the boundaries of pleasure and pain confuse the viewers, who think "I don't want to see it... and yet I do".

Christian Hagblom takes two concepts as his sole motifs; the 'vacuum' between the urban world and the natural one, and the 'point' between culture and nature. The apparently simple characters in fact imply that human fear and desires are an inevitable part of nature.

If you listen carefully, you can hear "Small Song for Polyester Plant in a Pot" that Philip Samartzis wrote in Tokyo this winter.
