"The Perfect Bowl" Exhibition

For today's lifestyle, the perfect bowl for everyday use should be larger than the traditional teacup, but smaller than the usual donburi or rice bowl. Based on this idea, 6 artists have designed what they think is a perfect bowl. In collaboration with Grazia magazine, well-known interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara, as well as cookery expert Rika Maezawa (owner of Shimokitazawa's vegetarian restaurant Nanakusa) have designed the ideal cuisine to complement each bowl. Together with the bowls, photos by Toru Kometani of the culinary creations will be on display.
