Writing words in a basement room in the summer. In the void of darkness, you slowly see the arm movements of the person writing come into view. Words change shape, constantly being rewritten, spreading all across the surface. Words layered onto other words, the surface of the wall peeling off like a membrane. Lines of sight colliding, light congealing. Words change shape.
Performances will be held irregularly over the duration of the exhibition, sometimes to overlap with the structure of the show. Hirota is planning not to leave the venue, but there may be times when no visitors are present.
