Takeyoshi Tanuma
Takeyoshi Tanuma began photographing children around the world in 1966, and has continued to do so for over 40 years, visiting over 120 countries. There are currently 2.1 billion people under the age of 18 on the earth, and 87 percent of them are in developing countries. Tanuma has visited and photographed so many of these children over the years, and his photographs send a message of hope for peace in the future.
