Architect Reiko Tomita's "Small Architecture" introduced to her readers a vision of a city in which architecture, residence, space for living, eating and enjoying a "lifestyle" in general would be experienced as an integrated whole. Her book focused on children, aging, and the relationship between architecture and the city. Together with two regular collaborators, Tomita will hold a series of 3 symposia on topics relating to quotidian living, the physical experience of architecture and the city that should spur interesting dialogue on the future livability of our cities.
