This yearly exhibition showcases prizewinning photographs by female photographers from Tokyo, Hokkaido and 17 eastern-Japan prefectures. All female participants, including children and students, are welcomed to submit their works to the photo contest held prior to this exhibition. Every year, powerful yet delicate works by a lot of female photographers are exhibited, amusing the visitors with their presence and capabilities. This open call exhibition aims to provide not only veterans but also budding female photographers with an opportunity to release the shutter, giving them a chance to foster fresh perspectives as well as to search for their own identities.
Approximately 50 color and monochrome photographs will be on display.
