Rie Kawashima
Kawashima works only with watercolor paper and a mechanical pencil. Her linework drawn in pencil takes on a silver sparkle when light reflects off it. These slippery, supple lines create a perfect world delineated only in these lines. This is her first solo show featuring new works about "falling dreams".
