"Welcome to Hiroshima Country: Our Peaceful World" Exhibition

Newspark - The Japan Newspaper Museum
Finished
"Hiroshima Country" is a newspaper about peace run entirely by teenagers. It was launched as part of Chugoku Shimbun in January 2007, and celebrates its 50th issue this May. This exhibition looks back on the evolution of the paper, featuring photographs and other archival materials. This is an opportunity for visitors to reflect not just on war, but also on problems relating to food, poverty and the environment, thinking about what the young generation can do for the cause of peace.

Lectures, anime screenings, workshops and other events are also scheduled for the duration of the exhibition.
