The Cowichan Sweater originates from the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, Canada. This exhibition features artwork combining pieces of Cowichan sweaters hand-knitted by Cowichan people and pieces of wool cloth created by Japanese textile artist Takehiko Sanada. The exhibition also includes authentic original Cowichan sweaters.
