In 2003, Foti and Chrome Hearts collaborated on the "Foti by Chrome Hearts" skull figures, which were born out of highly favorable responses to his pieces in the "Fisting Scars" exhibition in Tokyo in 2002. Joe Foti remarks, " My favorite kind of art is the kind you look at & say ' What the fuck is that?" So I love creating little monsters & strange pieces to bring forth amazement,confusion & intrigue to the viewer.
