"Making art more familiar, more fun" is the concept that sustains the various art projects organized by Giant Mango. After the highly successful "Colors" exhibition last November at Daikanyama Hillside Forum, "Chips" will be held at Yokohama's creative hub Red Brick Warehouse where works of diverse genres by more than 50 artists will be on view. Workshops and traveling studios where visitors will be able to witness the production process of art works will also be held. Don't forget to join the party and dance events during the weekend to enjoy this multi-disciplinary art entertainment event to its full.
What is "chips"?
Visitors will vote for the best artist with 3 poker-chips-shaped tokens. The 3 artists with most votes will receive an award of (number of tokens x ¥100). In other words your "chips" will turn into "tips" for the artist. Chips used to vote other artists will be donated to Japan Welfare Children and Families Association (number of tokens x ¥10).
