At a time when forms of art are changing in different ways, printed photographic works are perhaps only one narrow interpretation of the medium.

"Fighting Annabel Lee" is a project by photographer and artist Maki Taguchi and Tomoko Ozaki, who studied fashion and fine art in New York. The "work" consists not only in the photographic prints on display, but also the costumes, space, physicality of the subject, movement, as well as the photographer and the audience, who become part of the performance - in short, a work with multiple layers, just like the "dual structures" that exist in society.
