Artists

Masashi Kasahara
It's been 25 years since Kasahara started taking photographs of snowscapes. An ideal climate condition that realizes the figurative beauty he pursues to capture occurs only once in every 3 to 4 years. Aiming for an early morning where dry, light snowflakes thinly cover the snow-packed white land, he continues to frequent Niigata, Nagano and Fukushima prefectures. Around 25 black and white photographs are on view.
