Artists

Ken Takano
After graduating from the printmaking department at Tama Art University, Takano completed graduate studies at the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. He taught as a part-time instructor at the same university for some time, and currently works as an assistant at Tama Art University. In a field dominated by female artists, Takano's work possesses a certain masculine spirit. His original "monotype" technique expands the possibilities of printmaking while responding to a certain contemporary sensibility.
