In addition to holding 3 previous exhibitions, the Awagami factory has been pursuing collaborations with printmakers and coming up with fresh, innovative approaches to materials. Recognition for accomplished work in a field that used to be in a slump has since improved, and the demand for high quality Japanese washi and other fine papers has increased.
This exhibition focuses on premium examples of Takekazu and Hakuho paper.
