Yoshiyuki Akagawa "Grown-up Children"

Showcase Megumi Ogita Gallery
Finished

Artists

Yoshiyuki Akagawa
Solo exhibition by Yoshiyuki Akagawa (b. 1971) featuring works that consist of scraps of random memories from his childhood. Akagawa's motifs include deformed human heads and faces that belong to neither a child nor an adult. His use of gold and silver powder based on Japanese painting techniques together with acrylic paint represents a new mode of expression.
