Saya Kubota
AISHO MIURA ARTS is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Saya Kubota (1987- ) from July 3 to July 31, 2010. We will feature her recent installation using tracing paper works and LED. In addition, we will also be publishing her first artist book about this exhibition.

Saya Kubota was born in Japan and educated at the school of Art & Design at the University of Tsukuba, Japan. She is currently a graduate student in the department of painting at Tokyo University of the Arts.

Previously, AISHO MIURA ARTS exhibited Kubota’s unique paper works, delicately composed using Japanese or tracing paper. Kubota also recently participated in the Tokushima LED Art Festival (April 17th-25th), where she sold copies of her tracing paper works and organic vegetables purchased from local farmers. On display at this exhibition is Kubota's "Night Vegetable Shop" installation, created using her original tracing paper works.
