This special exhibition showcases the "shiki-shi haritsuke sakura-yamabukizu" folding screen made out of colored paper from the collection of the Tokyo National Museum. Created in 1605, this work is thought to be a collaboration between Koetsu Honami and Sotetsu Tawaraya, the founder of the Rinpa school of painting that emerged in Kyoto during the Momoyama and early Edo periods.

Held in conjunction with the Joseph Cornell and Mutsuo Takahashi exhibition.
