Emile Galle
Emile Galle was one of France's leading Art Nouveau artists, known for his ornamental style based on undulating plant motifs that exerted a profound influence on painting, sculpture, design, architecture and crafts throughout Europe from the late 19th through early 20th century. This exhibition focuses on around 50 ceramic works by Galle with a palpable Japanese influence drawn from the Kitahori Matsue collection.
