World Press Photo is an independent, nonprofit organization based in The Netherlands that supports and promotes professional press photographers from around the world. It also organizes an annual world press photo contest aimed at such professionals. This exhibition features a wide variety of work ranging from tragic scenes from zones of conflict in Afghanistan and the Gaza strip, sports and fashion reportage and portraits of nature.
