Yukiko Shikata is a curator of media art who also teaches at Tokyo Zokei University, Tama Art University and the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS). At this talk, Shikata will speak about the possibilities specific to the genre of "media art", its historical development and future promise.
