Now based in Nigeria, the Ghanaian artist El Anatsui (born 1944) is known for his stunning, glittering textile installations embroidered with metal bottle caps and other scrap-like materials. This large-scale exhibition offers viewers a sense of his importance and stature within the world of African contemporary art.
