Yoichiro Kawaguchi
Yoichiro Kawaguchi is a professor of informatics at the graduate school of Tokyo University who has won international acclaim since the 1970s for his research into computer graphics. His works have been warmly received at various international art exhibitions including the Venice Biennale. In recent years, Kawaguchi has been creating three-dimensional pieces inspired by images that he produces using CG software. This exhibition showcases his robotic sculptures of living creatures such as shells, jellyfish, fish and butterflies.
