Chikako Ikeda
In 1988, Chikako Ikeda had a fateful encounter with a magical sight close to the border between Canada and the northwestern US. This encounter would prove to exert a major influence on her subsequent work, leading to a new artistic direction. This exhibition showcases some 50 oil paintings and drawings that date from this turning point in the early 90s up until the present.
