Gallery MoMo Projects
Finished

Artists

Katsumi Hayakawa
Katsumi Hayakawa was born in Tochigi in 1970 and graduated from the art department at Nihon University in 1992, and the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1998. He subsequently held solo shows at Daniel Silverstein Gallery and McClain Gallery, showing mostly with Gallery Momo after returning to Japan in 2008.

Hayakawa's previous works consist of layers of paint and pigment shaved away with an electric drill, but his more recent output features paper sculptures that give the impression of a bird's eye view of the city.
