Shuji Terayama
Avant-garde theatre artist Shuji Terayama and his troupe Sajiki Tenjo were active from the Sixties until around the mid-Eighties. Their posters are still iconic and featured the work of artists such as Tadanori Yokoo and Kiyoshi Awazu. Due to the limited numbers of performances one production may have given, original posters are now rare collectors' items, making this exhibition a special opportunity to view many of the posters together.
