Mitsuo Aida “Just Being There”

Mitsuo Aida Museum
Finished

Artists

Mitsuo Aida
Aida Makoto believed in leaving room for interpretation in his works. For instance, the last line of “Just Being There” is “I too want to become someone like you,” which allows the viewer to imagine what kind of person the speaker is referring to. Who could this be? Or, what kind of existence did he mean? This work contains many different versions of itself, creating a mystery for “you” to solve.
