Carl Stone,Samm Bennett
US-born Carl Stone, who now teaches at Chukyo University, has been working with electronic music since the 1970s and was one of the first to develop computer-based music. Samm Bennett was active as a percussionist in the emerging music scene in 1980s New York. Now based in Tokyo, Bennett is recognized as a pioneer in the use of samplers and also works in acoustics. This is their third time to play silent movie music together. Stone will bring an engrossing film shown in US public schools in the 1960s and 1970s.
