This exhibition presents a range of memorabilia capturing the evolution of the popular stop animation “Cheburashka”, with sketches, illustrations, dolls and maquettes. Here the museum also takes the opportunity to reflect on over 100 years of Russian animation and its impact upon even Japanese animation, with renowned works such as “The Snow Queen” (1957, Lev Atamanov) amongst the works of pioneering artists being shown.
