Upon his first encounter with the landscapes of Amami Oshima during a trip to join the judging panel of a photography exhibition, Junnosuke Akita could not remove these scenes from his mind. 3 years later he began to capture these landscapes with a brownie camera, in what would become an unstoppable addiction, continuously wrestling with questions of how to photograph the ancient banyan trees and the delicacies of the scenes before him, which have led to the works displayed in this exhibition.
