The theme of this exhibition is “hatsuyume,” meaning the first dream of the New Year. It features works with motifs imaged from Mogi’s perspective, including photos featuring a diverse range of female subjects. Works inspired by Showa-era movies and TV dramas that bode for a bright and happy New Year offer a glimpse into the wonder of the year’s first dream.
