Junichi Nakahara
Celebrating 100 years since the birth of Junichi Nakahara(1913-1983), a master of the fashion and design world who had a particular impact on women’s style, gaining a name for himself at just 19 years old with his solo exhibition of French dolls and coming to work as editor and illustrator for a wide array of women’s style magazines. This exhibition includes original illustrations, drawings, dolls, magazine compendiums and the recreation of his “Cinderalla dress” with the aid of Keita Maruyama in a celebration of “living beauty”.
