Miyako Maki
Miyako Maki first made her debut in 1957 in “Hahakoi Waltz” and came in publish numerous works across a variety of manga comics including “Ribbon”, “Margaret” and “Shojo Friend”. She has also taken on artistic direction of Tomy toy company’s Rika-chan doll as well as working on various women’s magazines. This exhibition features 10 examples of her cover illustrations for publications such as “Ribbon” and “Shojo Friend”, along with 30 illustrations and print works.
