Tracing the shifts of the Japanese society from pre-war times to the bubble era through a collection of photographs of children from 19 photographers. The Showa era saw tumultuous upheaval for Japan from the Sino-Japanese War to the WWII, from defeat to recovery and financial leaps. Through the faces of the children captured by leading photographers we may read the changes of the period and follow the shifts of the nation over 64 years.
